  • Mechele is an experienced market research professional with a unique combination of client-side and supplier expertise in the healthcare space. She knows how to design and execute projects flawlessly and also knows how to translate the results into actionable insights that drive better decision-making and resonate with key stakeholders. As a Vice President at Burke, she is responsible for understanding business needs, designing and executing custom market research solutions, and delivering impactful insights, allowing her to leverage her skills while focusing on her passions – developing deep relationships and providing a superb overall experience for her clients.
  • Prior to joining Burke, Mechele led all global commercial insights and market research efforts at a leading biopharmaceutical company to bring an innovative enzyme replacement therapy to market for patients with an inherited and life-threatening rare metabolic disorder. Mechele’s entrance into healthcare market research began on the supplier side where she gained extensive experience executing projects and ultimately overseeing a team of researchers supporting multiple client organizations.
  • Mechele holds an MS in Human Genetics and a B.S. in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh where she was involved in multiple research projects related to the full-spectrum of eating and weight disorders and other health issues. She also spent time doing clinical work as a dietitian at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.
