As Managing Director of Burke’s Healthcare Research practice, John leads a team of dedicated Healthcare researchers and consultants with specific expertise in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics, health insurance, distribution and information technology. John brings a wealth of knowledge to the team having worked in Healthcare market research for 20+ years coupled with outside leadership roles in various healthcare-related organizations serving the industry. In addition to leading a team of experts, John ensures that Burke stays current on industry trends impacting healthcare delivery as well as staying abreast of innovations in research approaches that can be applied to help clients leverage research to make better business decisions.
- John has worked in all functional areas of research, spending time as a project manager, an analyst and a sales consultant. Over the years, John has leveraged a broad variety of qualitative and quantitative research to help clients make informed decisions including advertising/message testing, awareness and usage tracking, brand equity assessment, corporate image and reputation, choice modeling, concept testing, customer/employee satisfaction, data integration and linkage modeling, market segmentation, product/service testing and positioning, purchase decision process and strategic planning.
- John is a graduate of The University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, and Wayne State University where he earned a Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology. Along with being a sought-after speaker, John periodically lectures at The Harvard School of Public Health on the topic of marketing research as well as Burke’s education subsidiary, The Burke Institute. John is an active member of several healthcare strategy and marketing associations.
